Vars

  • Alcide Trudeau Park, 5715 Rockdale Rd. - 10 a.m. to 11 pm.
  • Inflatable rides, kids games and fireworks at 10 p.m.

Riverside South

  • Claudette Cain Park, 660 River Rd. - 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Inflatable rides, petting zoo and barbeque.

Barrhaven

  • Barbeque, bouncy castle and fireworks at 10 p.m.

Sparks Street

  • Between Elgin and Bank streets - 2-9 p.m.

Kanata

  • Kanata Recreation Complex, 100 Walter Baker Place - 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Concerts and festivities, including face painting, starts at 11 a.m. with Trooper on stage at 8 p.m., and fireworks at 10 p.m. The Canada Day event at Andrew Haydon Park will not take place this year. The organizer did not apply for a permit to hold the event, according to a City of Ottawa spokesperson, and there has been no indication that it would happen.
The mayor's breakfast with seniors also won't take place on Canada Day this year because a location could not be secured.
