46 Students of the Federal Polytechnic, Mubi, Adamawa State were shot dead by unknown gunmen. A witness narrating the ordeal said the killings took place at about 10pm on Monday when the gunmen ordered the victims to line up in rows and each person was asked his name. He said some were killed and others spared, adding that the reason for that was not clear.
“Some were killed with bullet shots while others were stabbed and their bodies lined up in rows openly outside,” the source said.

The Federal Polytechnic, Mubi is one of the seven (7) Federal
Polytechnics established by Decree No. 33 of 1979. It started in August
of the same year as the Federal Polytechnic, Yola, at a picturesque
location on the rocky side of the north bank of Benue River.
Why would someone kill innocent students?
When will this end?
